Absolutely. This workshop is perfect for first-time parents, but it's just as valuable for mums and dads who already have children. It's also suitable for anyone who works with or regularly cares for young children, such as nannies, teenagers, and grandparents. The session is designed to be practical, reassuring, and confidence-building, with plenty of time for questions.
Unfortunately, we're not able to provide childcare at this stage (although it's something we'd love to explore in the future). If this is tricky, we can also run a private class in your home, for example, in the evening once little ones are asleep. For more information, please see Private Classes or email [email protected].
Yes, pre-crawling babies are very welcome to attend with you. Once babies are crawling or walking, it can be harder to focus, so in those cases, we recommend attending without your baby if possible.
Just yourself. All training equipment is provided, and we keep the sessions relaxed and welcoming.
We're unable to offer refunds; however, we're mums too, and we completely understand that things come up. If you give us at least 24 hours' notice, we'll happily move your booking to another available date.
Yes, all bookings must be paid for in advance to secure your place. Our workshops are very popular, and spaces are limited, so places are only confirmed once payment is received.
Open workshops are paid online via our secure payment system (Stripe) at checkout. Private classes, schools or workplace sessions are paid via bank transfer once an invoice and booking confirmation have been issued.
We run workshops at various locations, dates and times across the UAE. Upcoming classes are listed on our website and shared on social media. You can also contact us to be added to a waiting list for new dates in your area.
Yes, if you would like one. All attendees have the option to receive an HSI certificate after completing the workshop. However, we recognise that not everyone requires formal certification and many people simply attend to gain practical knowledge and reassurance. For this reason, the certificate is optional and available for a small additional fee for those who would like official accreditation.
If you didn't add a certificate at checkout, don't worry — you'll find a link to purchase one in your post-workshop email. Alternatively, you're welcome to email us at [email protected] and we'll arrange it for you.
Not at all. Don't worry, we're not going to quiz you at the end. The whole point of the workshop is for you to leave feeling calmer, more informed and reassured. We focus on practical, hands-on guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment — not fear or pressure. Our aim is for you to leave feeling confident and prepared, not overwhelmed.
Choosing the right course depends on your needs, experience, and who you're caring for. Here's a simple guide to help you decide:
Paediatric CPR & Choking Course
This course is perfect for expectant parents, parents of young children, families starting solids, nannies, educators, coaches, and anyone caring for babies or children.
It can be taken as a standalone course, and no prior experience or preparation is needed. However, for more comprehensive and well-rounded training, we recommend pairing it with our Paediatric First Aid course.
Paediatric First Aid Course
Ideal for parents, nannies, educators, coaches, and anyone responsible for the care of babies or children.
While this course can absolutely be taken on its own, it works best when completed after the Paediatric CPR & Choking Course, as it builds on those essential lifesaving skills.
Adult CPR Course
This course can be completed as a standalone qualification and is a great starting point for learning essential lifesaving skills.
It is designed for workplace staff, supervisors, health and safety representatives, volunteers, carers, fitness professionals, maritime enthusiasts, lifeguards, and members of the public who may need to respond to adult medical emergencies. Suitable for both employment requirements and personal preparedness, the course requires no prior first aid experience and is delivered in a hands-on, practical format focused on real-life scenarios.
Many participants choose to continue their training with the Adult First Aid Course to gain complete certification, as well as greater confidence and reassurance in emergency situations.
Adult First Aid Course
Designed for anyone who may need to provide first aid to adults in the workplace, community, or everyday life. This includes employees, supervisors, managers, health and safety representatives, volunteers, carers, fitness professionals, and security staff. It is also suitable for those needing certification for a marine craft or Skipper licence in the UAE.
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to feel confident responding to medical emergencies at home or in public, covering the management of common injuries and illnesses. Please note, it focuses specifically on adult casualties and is not a substitute for paediatric or advanced medical training.
You can take this course on its own, but we recommend completing the Adult CPR & Choking Course first to build a strong foundation and confidence.
BLS (Basic Life Support) Course
This course is specifically designed for healthcare providers working in both hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
It focuses on developing and strengthening high-quality CPR skills, as well as effective teamwork when responding to adult, child, and infant emergencies. The course follows the latest resuscitation science and aligns with recommendations from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), as well as the 2025 update to the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines for CPR and ECC.
If you're still unsure which course is right for you, feel free to reach out — we're always happy to help guide you based on your needs.
